Fabian Welter and KEO Racing Together in the 2014 Season
06/01/14 - Copenhagen Denmark. KEO Racing Team confirm the participation of the Mexican driver Fabian Welter for the 2014 season in NEC (Northern European Cup).
Fabian, with only 18 years, returned to compete in Europe, this time in one of the most competitive categories of the world, The Formula Renault NEC.
Champion of the British Formula Ford in 2012 and with a long history in the Mexican Karting, Fabian will be certainly a clear challenger to the title of the 2014 season in the NEC Cup.
Kim Olsen team owner is enthusiastic about the Fabian latest contributions he made during the test with the team for the 2013 season on the circuit MOSST in Czech Republic and during winter testing at the Circuit of Valencia.
"Fabian 's talent combined with the experience of the team surely will keep us within the first places throughout the 2014 season," said Olsen.
Elvin Nielsen engineer of Fabian’s car said to be excited to work with the Mexican driver who managed the third fastest time during the final day of testing in Valencia. "Fabian has great potential and we surprised everyone during winter testing, probably spending more time on the track will make us ready to be protagonists in the series," said Nielsen.
On the other hand, Fabian expressed to be very excited about this new opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and furthermore with a team which has been already champion in this category.
"I want to thank my sponsors: Raloy Lubricants, Trösten Transport, Deportivo Toluca and Cintegran, who have been supporting me race after race in order to get where we stand today, I'm sure I can thank them for 2014 as they deserve: placing at the podium" Fabian concluded.
KEO Racing will confirm the rest of the Drivers which will integrate the team for next season 2014 later.
