Welcome to KEO Racing

Benchmark sat by KEO Racing !

Last week KEO Racing enjoyed a couple of days of testing at Valencia alongside some of the other big teams of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Besides having 15-year-old Erik Johansson in the car for the first time for two full days, also Johan Jokinen, the Danish driver already having signed with KEO Racing for 2012, was briefly in action behind the wheel to prove the potential of the car and the team.
Erik Johansson made great improvements over the course of the two days, especially from the last session Monday to the first one on Tuesday. But the most remarkable event of the two first days of testing was the time posted by Johan Jokinen Monday morning. After just 14 laps on the circuit he recorded a time of 1.32.4 – which would stay as the fastest time until halfway through day 3 of testing. Even more impressive is the time by the Dane by the fact that he hasn’t sat in a car for several months and the time posted was not even on new tires. It will be interesting to see what will unfold when the season begins in May.
