The LMP2-category is made up of LMP2 cars from four different manufacturers that all must abide by the LMP2 regulations. They have different characteristics but their technical specifications are identical meaning the racing is always close.

In the world of endurance racing LMP2 is only surpassed by LMP1 in terms of performance. Many former Formula One drivers choose to race in this series which only shows the quality of racing that the class produces and the value the class and series possesses.

KEO RACING will be running an LMP2 car by the Dallara manufacturer, the most versatile option of the four having engagement in all from junior formula classes to Formula E, Indycar and Formula One where it produces the chassis of Haas F1 Team.

Weight of the car is a mere 930 kg while the 4.0 litre V8 engine delivers 600 bhp which translates to a top speed of more than 320 kph.
